This page provides an overview and support regarding Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) per the CMS’ Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule (CMS-9115-F)

The following FHIR API Resources are available and developed in alignment with CMS Interoperability Guidelines:

  • Patient Access API – Allows New Mexico clients using enrolled third-party applications to access their health information.
  • Provider Directory API – Utilizes information about the enrolled healthcare service providers as updated monthly by Procuring Agency.
  • Drug Formulary API – Utilizes information from the Agency drug formulary and drug coverage plan.

SYNCRONYS’ FHIR API Integrations can be used for seamless data exchange to unlock a better Patient Digital Experience in your health applications while ensuring Patient-controlled data and HIPAA Privacy through the management of informed consent.

These FHIR C4BB APIs aim to efficiently and securely share health-related data, improve patient engagement, better care coordination and outcomes, medication management, cost of services transparency and much more.
